When we think of Bournville it's usually the chocolate which comes to our mind . But Bournville is a part of Birmingham with incredible history , beautiful architecture and the cutest railway station it is purple in colour .
Being from Mumbai i get very excited if i see only 4-5 people on railway stations or open spaces . Mumbai would be so beautiful with lesser people , lesser cars , people living here would be so much happier .
Its scary when u see it bursting with people , climate changes , so much development in terms of infrastructure etc ...
Back to Bournville ... One of the most beautiful places i visited while i was in UK and the other place was Shrewsbury in Shropshire countee.
It was quiet a long journey from Telford had to change a couple of trains to reach Bournville.
The huge factory of Cadbury is located here they give u the whole tour of the factory and you get a lot of freebies in form of choclates ofcourse . Half the day is spent in this factory so if u want to explore further i guess you shud stay over .
Everywhere you look in Bournville, you will see open spaces, grass and flower beds. From the Village Green to Bournville Park and Rowheath Pavilion's playing fields, the suburb is very lush and verdant.
Architecture is beautiful . Heritage buildings have been looked after .
Quiet peaceful lives surrounded by so much beauty .
Purple railway station with hardly 10 people waiting for the train is embedded in my mind . The peace the quaint is worth every luxury in life . We run all our lives , we compete , we struggle yet we are unhappy & tired .
Would definitely love to go back once more spend a little more time here . It's in my new bucket list which has changed drastically post covid .....
At Bournville, Birmingham, United Kingdom
